Established in 1999, Chantex Heavy Machining grew from the Chantex Group of Companies and changed to a closed corporation in 2008. In 2025, the company officially converted to Chantex Heavy Machining (Pty) Ltd.
Chantex Heavy Machining is fully ISO accredited. The quality service that is constantly delivered, has been driven to such a level that customers take it as a given. The dynamic combination of experience and sounds management values ensures that operators are loyal and that there is a very low staff turnover.
We see ourselves as a service provider machine shop with a present infrastructure of a 7148m2 yard and a 4698m2 workshop with offices. The equipment and machines within this workshop are able to handle works orders up to 35 tons.
We have a CNC 3D measuring machine with a full range of measuring equipment.
